Part-time nanny for 1-year old boy in 1010 Vienna

Hello! We’re looking for a kind and responsible babysitter for our son who is 1 years old in December. We are an international family living in the first district and looking forward to finding the right person for our son!

Overview:

• approx 20 hours / week

• 3-5 days per week. Mostly day time but sometimes evening (once a week mostly).

• Weekdays mostly but should be available weekends occasionally

• 4-6 hours per shift

Characteristics

• Experience with babies who are around 1 years old

• English mandatory, other language is a bonus

• Able to take responsibility and keep him safe and happy and be transparent in the communication with the mother

• Looking for something long term (growing family)

Main tasks

• Play and interact with baby boy, read books, teach him how to put things back. (Intentional play)

• Keep things tidy - wash his bottles, organize his toys and clothes, be hygienic and neat

• Feed him food or bottles. Occasionally help the mother prepare simple meals for him

• Follow his routine regarding eating and sleeping

• Join the mother for errands

• Occasionally run errands for the mother, for example pharmacy, grocery store

• Join for short trips (when needed, around 4 times/year on average). Normally 1 week at a time (sometimes 2). Costs will be covered.

• Put him to sleep when needed (he naps 2 times per day now but will change to 1 in the spring)

• Drop off to kindergarten when he starts next year (summer)
