2-year-old American/Austrian looking for English-speaking babysitter!

Hello! We’re an American-Austrian family living in Vienna with a fun and energetic 2-year-old (3 in February) daughter. We’re looking for a reliable, warm, and fluent English-speaking babysitter to join our little team. We've had great luck with a lovely babysitter we found on here, but unfortunately she has left the country.

What we’re looking for:

- A fluent English speaker

- Experience with toddlers

- Someone dependable, caring, and playful. My daughter is a goofy toddler who will love someone to play with as soon as she warms up to you.

- Preferably someone close to the 8th district.

What the job involves:

- One regular afternoon per week: kindergarten pick-up, playtime at the park, and dinner at our home (we’ll have the meal prepared!)

- Occasional evening babysitting so we can enjoy a date night here and there.

- We'd love someone who is also able to help us on short notice when work, illness, etc. issues arise. Obviously this is not always possible due to your schedule.

Who are we:

Mom is an American who works in marketing and who was a babysitter/au pair for many years, Dad is an Austrian who works in sales, daughter is a relatively easy two-year-old obsessed with books, tea parties, and running around. We also have a dog with some behavior issues (no danger to you!,) so you'll need to be comfortable with pets! Overall we're a pretty easy family - we just want someone trustworthy and caring for our daughter. Both mom and dad work at home (although both travel for work at times,) so there may be times when you're watching out daughter while we're working in our office.
